Can you tell us about yourself?

I am Senior Apostolic Prophetess Mother in Israel Victoria Oluwatoyin Elias Fatunwase (JP), the General Overseer of Ogo Oluwa Majemu Anu Cherubim and Seraphim Church, located at 1 Fasanya Street, Fadeyi, Lagos.

When did you emerge as the General Overseer of the church?

I became the General Overseer on February 8, 2001, marking the beginning of my journey as the leader of Ogo Oluwa Majemu Anu Cherubim and Seraphim Church.

How have you been running the affairs of the church? Have you faced any challenges, and if so, how have you surmounted them?

As a minister of God, I have faced challenges, but with faith, perseverance, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I have been able to navigate them. My transition to this role was particularly daunting, as I was living in New York, America, before returning to Nigeria. However, with the support of our members and the Lord’s blessings, we have overcome obstacles and built a strong, thriving community.

What lessons did you learn from your late mother?

I learned many valuable lessons from my mother, but one of the most significant is the importance of giving aid to people, supporting them with material things, and praying for them, regardless of their tribe or age. She was a virtuous mother, a mother to all, and her compassion knew no bounds.

What specific qualities of your mother’s do you admire and strive to emulate?

I admire her kindness, dedication, and commitment to worship and supporting others, especially the less privileged. She was a mother of honor, deeply devoted to God, and her legacy inspires me daily.

What has been your most challenging experience as a leader, and how did you overcome it?

My most challenging experience was when people around me were stealing from me. However, I have not faced any significant challenges apart from that, to God be the glory. When God chooses someone for a position, He supports them and knows their capabilities beforehand.

What message do you have for your members and the general public on this milestone anniversary?

I extend my warmest appreciation to our members, stakeholders, and the entire community for their support over the years. As we mark this significant milestone, I urge everyone to remain steadfast in their faith, trusting in God’s divine plan. Let us continue to work together, building a brighter future for ourselves, our children, and generations to come. May God continue to bless and guide Ogo Oluwa Majemu Anu Cherubim and Seraphim Church as we embark on this new chapter in our journey.
