Christian Events Watch Magazine: Sir, thank you for joining us today. Can you introduce yourself to our readers?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): I’m Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP), Coordinator General of Nigeria Immigration Christian Fellowship.
Christian Events Watch Magazine: What inspired your attendance?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): NCCF is not new to us in Immigration Christian Fellowship. They have been very supportive over the years. Back then, when we had a Course in Customs Training College Gorun Dutse, Kano, they gave us all the support we (NICF) needed. So, apart from sister agency, we are together in faith. At MMIA, we have fellowship in same venue.
And with our General Overseer, Dr DK Olukoya being the Guest Minister, you can be sure all of us will like to come
Christian Events Watch Magazine: What is the primary vision and objectives of Nigeria Immigration Christian Fellowship?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): Our primary vision is to make every Christian officer a worthy ambassador of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Christian Events Watch Magazine: What lessons did you take away from the NCCF prayer concert?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): Good timing and early invitation to Retired brethren and most importantly our guests ministers.
Christian Events Watch Magazine: How long has NICF been established?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): NICF has been in existence over 3 decades but a formal structure was done in 2012.
It’s notable achievements includes, the Legal document or what we call Constitution of NICF, The Registration at Corporate Affairs Commission, establishment of Chapters in all commands and formations.
Christian Events Watch Magazine: What challenges does NICF face?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): Distance barrier is a major challenge. We struggle to get colleagues from distant zones to attend meetings. We also need support to establish chapels in all formations.
Christian Events Watch Magazine: How many chapters does NICF have?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): We have 32 chapters in Nigeria, with almost every state command having a chapter.
Christian Events Watch Magazine: Where are your Lagos chapters located?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): Lagos State command Zone A Command, Ikoyi passport office, FESTAC passport office , MMIA command.
Christian Events Watch Magazine: What message do you have for NCCF?
Pastor Emma Shimbe (JP): They should keep sowing in the Vineyard of our LORD Jesus Christ. Together, we can lift the Kingdom of our dear Saviour higher in work place environment
