Ehiliz a gospel artiste and convener Vivid View with Ehiliz talkshow, shares her heartfelt congratulations to CSP Chaplain Ezekiel Ugbotor on his 50th birthday and book launch celebration. As the chairperson of the organizing committee, Ehiliz played a key role in making the event a success.
A Man of the People
Ehiliz describes CSP Ugbotor as a man of the people, known for his kindness and compassion. She shares a personal experience where Chaplain Ugbotor showed remarkable support during a difficult time, traveling from Lagos to Benin City to pay his condolences. “He is a nice person that one needs to associate with. He did something to me earlier this year when I lost my immediate elder brother. He took all the way from Lagos to Benin City to honour me, when I saw him in the field on that day of service of song, I marveled.”
The Book: “Chaplaincy as a Ministry”
Ehiliz praises CSP Ugbotor’s book, “Chaplaincy as a Ministry”, for its insightful exploration of the role of chaplaincy in serving others. She notes that the book highlights the importance of recognizing chaplaincy as a ministry, beyond the just a title. “The book is telling us that some of us are doing the work of chaplaincy, seeing chaplaincy as a ministry… The book has to explain the chaplaincy more deeply, than what chaplaincy mean to an ordinary person.”
Advice to CSP Ugbotor
Ehiliz advises CSP Ugbotor to continue his good works, serving others with kindness and compassion. “Whoever is doing well should continue his good works, he is a nice man, and he should keep doing the good work. Even when Police authorities transfer him from Lagos, he should continue his good works. Carrying the people along.”
Conclusion
As CSP Chaplain Ezekiel Ugbotor celebrates his 50th birthday and book launch, Ehiliz ‘s congratulations serve as a testament to his impact on others. May CSP Ugbotor continue to inspire others through his service and compassion.
