On Friday, 26th June, 2026, history was made at the Lord of Lords Police Chapel, Ikeja. The Lagos State Police Command Chaplaincy celebrated 20 Years of Faithful Chaplaincy Service and Impact — two decades of spiritual guidance, moral leadership, and humanitarian service within the Nigeria Police Force.

Ezekiel Ugbotor, Lagos State Command Chaplain, and with CP Tijani Fatai, Lagos State Commissioner of Police as Chief Host, the celebration was anchored by Rev. Prof. Faith Lana, Chairman of the Anniversary Planning Committee.

“Though the journey had challenges, God’s grace has made the Chaplaincy more relevant and influential,” he noted.
