Brother Ogochukwu Orikaeze Hails Pastor Nick Medo-Uwa’s Integrity as Lagos Police Chaplaincy Honours Him

The Pentecostal Canaanland Mission, PCM — a ministry known for raising lives, restoring destinies, and preaching the undiluted Word — was aglow with gratitude on Sunday as it held its Mid-Day Thanksgiving Service 2026.
Located at 26/28 Adewunmi Abudu Street, Off Osolo Way, Ajao Estate, Lagos, PCM under the leadership of Pastor Nick Medo-Uwa continues to stand out as a house of transformation, where lives meet Christ and destinies are redefined.
The thanksgiving service was not only a moment to thank God for the first half of the year, but also a season to celebrate divine recognition, coming just days after the Lagos State Police Chaplaincy conferred the title of Patron on Pastor Nick Medo-Uwa for his commitment to God and humanity.
Speaking with Christian Events Watch Magazine, Brother Ogochukwu Nwafor Orikaeze, a 10-year member, described PCM as the place where God found him and changed his story.
FROM BROKENNESS TO BREAKTHROUGH
Q: Brother Ogochukwu, how long have you been with PCM?
Ogochukwu: “I have been in PCM for almost 10 years now.”
Q: What has kept you for 10 years in a city with thousands of churches?
Ogochukwu: “When I joined the church, I had nothing. I didn’t even know God. But since I came to PCM, I have witnessed the goodness of God in my life. Today I have changed totally. I stopped some bad behaviours and gave my life to Christ.
It was here, hearing the Word of God, that I learned to keep God’s instruction. Just this morning I prayed and said, ‘I will not lie again.’ And by the power of the Holy Spirit, I stopped those bad things.
PCM is a life changer, a destiny discovery church. My relationship with God is cordial. I am happy with PCM. God met me here and lifted me.”
A PASTOR WORTHY OF HONOUR
Q: Last week, the Lagos State Police Chaplaincy conferred an award on Pastor Nick Medo-Uwa. What’s your reaction?
Ogochukwu: “Pastor Nick truly merited the award. He has touched many lives in Lagos and Nigeria at large. He has invested in the things of God and humanity.
He preaches the undiluted gospel of God all the time. Pastor loves the rich and the poor. He doesn’t discriminate. The award was given to him by merit because his life backs up his message.”
