Rev. Samson Ajetunmobi, Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (Ibadan) and General Overseer of Men of Issacar Vision Ministry, has emerged as a beacon of hope and encouragement for the Nigeria Police Force. Known for his deep spiritual insight and resourceful leadership across Christian forums, Rev. Ajetunmobi has consistently highlighted the intelligence, dedication, and potential of Nigerian policemen and women. His recent message at the 8th Bi-ennial Convention of the Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN) not only celebrated the achievements of the Force but also offered practical counsel for integrity, professionalism, and continuous growth.
Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN): A Legacy of Faith, Service, and Transformation. In an atmosphere of celebration, illuminating Nigeria with the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the globe, and empowering Police officers spiritually through fervent prayers, a group of Christian Police officers gathered at Jericho GRA, Ibadan, in 2001 to form the Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN). This divine vision was pioneered by retired AIG Michael O. Daniel.
By the power of the Holy Spirit and as evidence of God’s backing, the fellowship spread like wildfire to every nook and cranny of the country. Souls were saved, healings occurred, miracles and signs followed, and countless families were delivered from demonic strongholds. Today, CPFN has chapels across Nigeria with state coordinators and maintains international and Nigeria partnerships with organizations such as:
– Nigerian Military Christian Fellowship – Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria – Pointman Leadership Institute (Ghana) – Ghanaian Christian Fellowship– Kenyan Christian Police Association
Recognizing the importance of gathering Police officers for prayer, the Bi-ennial Convention was established. The most recent, the 8th Bi-ennial Convention, was held at Men of Issacar Vision Ministry, Olororo-Ojo, Ibadan, Oyo State Command, and marked a huge success.
The fellowship is currently led by AIG Emmanuel Adegbola Aina, a man of double portfolios — serving diligently in the Nigeria Police Force while remaining vibrant in the things of God. The 8th Convention celebrated his leadership and witnessed:
– The inclusion of great men of God
– The appointment of Bishop Chidi Anthony as CPFN Stakeholders President
– The dissolution of old executives and appointment of new ones
Highlights of Rev. Ajetunmobi’s Message- Integrity: “If you must show the example of the same principle, you must dictate, protect, and defend it.” Police officers must set samples of what they try to correct.
– Professionalism & Training: Crimes have taken different dimensions. Officers must keep training and retraining, even traveling abroad for exposure.
– Communication & Intelligence: Communication is a strong weapon. Police must invest in gadgets, intelligence, and proactive actions.
– Welfare: Reviewing social packages for officers and their families will encourage them to take necessary risks. He called on the Federal Government to improve Police welfare.
– Respect & Justice: Respect should be reciprocal. Police must not oppress the poor, as God is a God of justice. Officers should uphold fairness and avoid actions that bring torment from innocent blood.
– Community Policing: He advocated for community policing, urging the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, to push for its approval by the Federal Government and Senate.
Rev. Ajetunmobi also announced an upcoming National Prayer Program for Christian Uniformed Men, scheduled to hold at Men of Issacar Vision Ministry, Olororo-Ojo, Ibadan, Oyo State Command, on 28th March 2026 at 11:00 AM.
